Ophthalmic migraines(a.k.a. Ocular migraines), perhaps you've never heard of them. I know I had not, that was until I experienced my first one. It's unnerving to say the least, especially if you have no idea what you are experiencing.I decided to do some research, and it turns out that this is quite common. What's not known is the exact cause of this event, but light sources, foods, or medications could be the trigger. They aren't like typical migraines, because they may not be accompanied by a severe and painful headache. I did experience a rather painful, but in no way debilitating, headache later after my vision cleared.
Each instance can last up to 30 minutes, and there is no cure or way to prevent them. However, they don't cause any damage... w00t?
I don't know, maybe I am dying(it's been brought to my attention that we are all dying, which is the douche-bag response to that statement, so please don't post it).

You know man...we're all dy...never mind.
But my brother has had migraines for about 10 years. I've never had it explained so eloquently before. I understand now. Because when I would ask him, the response I would usually get was "Get the fuck away from me. Don't touch me. Turn off the fucking light."
"Randy, you're hiding in your bedroom at 1 AM with your head under a blanket. There is no light."
"Go somewhere and fuck off."
Yes, ophthalmic migraines can and usually do accompany the more painful migraines that you are describing.
Those are much worse than what I experienced... however, I am all man and I can take a lot of punishment. So I probably had a pretty bad migraine, but I'm like a freight train, and you know it's hard to stop a train.
Woooooooooo! Woooooooooooo! L-Train coming through!!!! *makes locomotive train motion with arms*
Man.. I just can't get enough. I love it. We should hang out sometime. Maybe grab a Mai Thai. Or a cosmo.. Maybe some Zima!
